 Server backup information.
Solution Here at Webtrix, we place a very high emphasis on keeping your data secure and backed up daily.

Each server has a slightly different backup scheme, but in general this is how it works:

  • Each night, a backup is made to the local machine.
  • A copy of this backup is then copied to a utility server as well.

If a restoration of files is required due to a server-wide failure, client data on an entire drive can usually be restored within a few of hours

In the case of a problem with an individual account due to client error, having a file or files restored depends on the size of the restoration needed, but usually it can be performed within 24 hours - in most instances sooner if we can restore from the day-old backup that is on the local machine.

Restoration of files due to client error may incur a fee dependent on circumstances. Please contact our support team for details.

Please note: While we take all care possible with our backups, no system is infallible, so we strongly recommend clients making backups of their own files on a regular basis.
